The Capital New York Branch serves the counties of Albany, Saratoga, Schenectady, Rensselaer, Schoharie, Greene, Columbia, Montgomery, Fulton, Washington, Warren, Hamilton, Essex, Franklin and Clinton.   The Branch holds meetings every third Friday of the month on a variety of topics.  

Upcoming activities include our APWA Scholarship Golf Outing on June 8th, 2020 at the Edison Club in Rexford, NY, as well as a number of lunch and learns and field trips to local facilities.  Our Annual Golf Outing is a highlight of the year, not just for the golf and camaraderie, but for the funds it raises for our Scholarship Program.

Our 2019 APWA Awards Luncheon was held in November 2019 and honored a number of outstanding public works projects/professionals throughout the Capital Branch region.  Additionally, we awarded a scholarship in May 2019 as part of our Scholarship Program, where we distributed monetary awards to deserving students who are interested in pursuing a career in the field of public works.

We are looking forward to welcoming new members to our Branch, learning new things and having another successful year in the service of Public Works!
