Project Manager – Water/Wastewater

Albany/Mt. Kisco, NY

What you’ll do:

    • This position will directly report to the region’s Team Leader and will work with a team of engineers and support staff to meet client deliverables.
    • Collaborate and build strong working relationships with internal multi-disciplinary teams

    What you will bring:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering or similar engineering degree.
    • Possess and maintain a New York State Professional Engineering License, in good standing.
    • 7 to 20 years of relevant experience working with municipal clients in engineering or project management roles, including:
      •   Evaluation, study and design of municipal water and wastewater facilities and conveyance infrastructure including treatment process.Focus on collection system rehabilitation and pump system upgrades preferred.
      • Drafting, Site Design, Utility Planning and Hydraulic Modelling
      • Possess in-depth knowledge of Federal and State regulations, including discharge permitting for facilities, and typical funding sources related to the industry.
    • Experience in managing multiple projects and clients with a successful history of delivering projects on budget.
    • Highly effective with written and verbal communication of project plans and presentations
    • Adept at interpersonal relationship building, conflict resolution, team leadership, and mentoring.
    • Possessing high ethical standards, committee to producing high quality work, with a commitment to teamwork, respect and integrity.
    • Demonstrated leadership experience and successful teamwork.
    • Working proficiency in Microsoft Office.
    • Some travel is required, must have a valid driver’s license.
